"That thing you do."

So most of those that read my blog have seen that movie, and to tell you the truth, I hate the movie. But a quote is used in my family all the time, mostly to me. The quote: "Go write that hit song; alone in my principles." Well me being the writer I am, I am told that just about every time I get upset. So the other day I thought: "Why not?" It is a great idea for a song, so why not? Well I did, and I finished it yesterday, I haven't gone and done the finishes on it, but who knows if I ever will?
"Oh well, for by thought things were told, and were told truly amongst others!" I love the quotes I post!
Well, here it is, my not so hit song: Alone in my principles:

I am left here alone with this pain,

My biggest fear has turned to tears,

So I will sit in this corner and cry,

As I write that hit song of mine,

And there is just water in mine,

I thought you were all that I need,

But you walked away ignoring my plea,

Of will you stay with me,

So my dreams are shattered, and my hopes are crushed,

I guess I understand, that people change their minds,

Oh this crazy drama in the life of me,

 

Not one of my favorite works, but still all the same, I wrote it, I love it!
